Tanzania is one of the poorest countries in the world with 58% of the people living on less than $1 a day. Many children cannot attend school because the family is too poor to pay for school fees, books and supplies, uniforms and meals
PCC partners with Together for Tanzania, a non-profit volunteer organization, that provides educational and missional support to people in Tanzania so they are better equipped to care for their families, serve their communities and impact positive changes in their country. Together for Tanzania has developed strong, enduring partnerships with Tanzanian church and community leaders with whom we work daily to identify and assist families in need and to determine the best approach for assistance and relief. Currently, through donations and sponsorships, TFT is providing education of 86 students, preschool through master’s programs. Mount Mbeya Medical College is a startup school with which TFT partners and seeks grants for its operation and sustainability. Beginning early 2019, TFT will start construction of Save Life English Medium School in southern Tanzania.
Our missional outreach includes partnerships with Tanzanian churches to spread the Word, assist pastors and churches with unexpected needs, help fund repairs and constructions of churches and support programs for orphans and widows. Our funding of deep wells in areas without safe, clean water has been a missional priority for TFT and has changed the lives of thousands of people.
