DO GOOD Interest Meeting – Learn how you can do good for Powhatan!

“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” – 1 John 3:16-18
You’re invited to a brief information session with Ralph Finch, Do Good Coordinator for the Powhatan Campus, as he shares the vision for how we can rally in the Powhatan community to “Do Good”. Ralph will share:
- 60+ simple ways you can reach out to those around you as you’re going about your normal routines
- Current opportunities in the community (ex. Habitat for Humanity + more!)
- How you can share opportunities around you and receive volunteer and skilled support through Ralph’s connections (ex. building a ramp for an elderly neighbor)
