Growth Track is specially designed to help you find your purpose and live fully into the life God created just for you. You’ll meet others from your campus, learn more about the church, and learn more about yourself and how God designed you to make a difference.
We asked some of our recent Growth Track participants to tell us a little bit about their experience. Here’s what they had to say:
I’ve never seen anything like this provided by a local church. When I heard about it, I knew I wanted to participate. I figured it would help me to understand where I fit. I loved the one on one time that the class offered. Having a real live person to talk with and help you with next steps was great. After completing Growth Track, I got back into singing. And I mean actually singing. Not just because they needed someone to stand in, but because I was actually getting to know myself more, what I have to offer, and where God has called me. I was also able to get involved with serving online, which gives me an opportunity to interact with others and encourage them. Growth Track confirmed some things concerning myself that God was already revealing to me. It gave me more confidence to keep stepping up. – Jalisa Miller
I had been attending PCC’s Aylett campus for about six months when I attended Growth Track. I was curious to know more about the church as a whole. Learning just how big PCC is and how much of a difference they’ve made in people’s lives all throughout central Virginia was my favorite part of the class. Learning about PCC eventually led to me accepting an internship position for PCC, which I have absolutely loved. It’s definitely worth taking Growth Track. Knowing everything you can about your church, how it started, and where it’s going makes all the difference. – Cody Cooksey
Since Growth Track is the first step toward serving at PCC, we took the class in order to find where we could best serve the church. My husband and I have been in church for a long time so we understand the importance of giving and serving and wanted to jump in right away. We really enjoyed hearing from other leaders within PCC, and since the class can be completed all in one sitting, it was convenient, too. Even though we didn’t meet anyone new at our Growth Track class, while serving, we have been able to meet and connect with parents, kids and other volunteers in First Steps and PowerJam. We’ve really enjoyed getting to meet new people and use our gifts to serve others. – Julie Botset
I had attended services at PCC several times and was so warmly greeted. It just felt like home, and I wanted to take the next step. I decided to attend Growth Track because I wanted to learn more about the mission, vision, values, direction, and goals of the church. I enjoyed meeting the other future members who came to the class. It was definitely easier for me to have the “stacked” Growth Track and have all sessions combined on one Saturday morning. The focus on personality styles and spiritual gifts was unique and a very nice part of the class. Spending a little bit of time with one of the pastors was very nice, and I enjoyed hearing a little bit about small groups and other things PCC has to offer. After Growth Track, I decided to participate in a Bible study, and it has been very rewarding. – Wanda Ortwine
