What are Sunday mornings like?
Each Sunday at Passion Community Church you’ll find an authentic, judgment-free, and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a practical, relevant message. We strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where you can come check out God and explore your faith on YOUR terms. You will be respected and accepted, no matter who you are, where you’re coming from, or where you are on your spiritual journey. Children are well-cared for in a loving environment and fun-filled PCC Kids service. Find a campus near you!
What will happen when I visit for the first time?
If you are new to the church environment or visiting for the first time, then our church was made for you! We will not embarrass you, call you out, or put you on the spot. We have an environment that allows you to stay anonymous if you choose. We know some church environments can be overwhelming or even intimidating, and we want you to move at your own pace! Come, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.
We encourage you to stop by the information area (also known as the Connection Hot Spot) as soon as you arrive at any campus. Our greeters there will be happy to point you in the right direction, as well as give you a free gift. They’ll even show you where to get free coffee before the service.
What do I wear?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our weekend services. Come in what is comfortable for you!
Where are you located?
What about my children?
At Passion Community Church your children are a top priority. Our children’s areas are clean, safe, and staffed with loving, background-checked workers. Environments are age-appropriate and PCC Kids have a BLAST learning about Jesus! Kids check-in begins 15 minutes prior to each service or you can click below to pre-register your kids.
What about my student?
At PCC, students in grades 6-12 are a part of PCC Students. On Sunday mornings at PCC, students gather to worship in our main services. Some also help with the service or serve in PCC Kids. Learn more about how our students connect during the week in student small groups and student events.
How can I meet others and get connected?
There are many ways to get involved at Passion Community Church! We encourage everyone to begin by attending Growth Track. Small groups are another great way to connect with those in your community. You can also volunteer to help make Sunday happen! Your Campus Pastor or Information volunteer can help. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith.
What is my next step beyond Sunday morning services?
We have just one mission at Passion Community Church, and part of that mission is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Growth Track offers the tools necessary to help guide you in your spiritual journey.
What is a small group?
We believe small groups of people can and will change the world. In fact, small groups are the life of our church, and we are firmly convinced that in order to grow spiritually, we must be connected relationally. Join a small group and become part of a strong, intentional community where you can know and be known, love and be loved, celebrate and be celebrated, all the while growing in your faith. Learn more about how you can lead, host or join a small group.
How can I get involved in a small group?
One of the most life-giving things you can do at Passion Community Church is participate in a small group. Groups meet throughout Central Virginia and provide a place for Bible study, fellowship, and support. Wherever you live, there’s a small group near you.
